Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had doing business with somebody. I was left waiting six months for a box build from Steve who quoted me $250 at the beginning. Mind you this was back in June. Over and over he would tell me he was starting it soon. Only to leave me hanging again and again. He would literally tell me on a weekly basis that he would be starting it. He even told me at one point he already started it and still didn’t make the first measurement until almost 3 months later. When I finally picked the box up it had sawdust, and glue over spray all over it. I literally had to clean and fix my own box before I could leave with it. There were pieces of carpet that were not glued down properly or cut well on the edges. Upon installing it he attempted to charge me $350 for the build. I met him in the middle at $300. When I got home and began playing and tuning I discovered there were leaks in different places on the box which made it sound terrible. Which there shouldn’t have been because he said he was going to hit every seam with Duraglass. Well obviously he didn’t. Now I’m having to bring this box back to him to fix it after waiting 6 MONTHS for it in the first place. He told me he could get some Duraglass that evening and that it would be ready for me by the end of the next day. Well I show up and he has RTV siliconed all the seams. And made an absolute mess with it. After telling him I’m not satisfied with this and that I either need to get money back or have it done right, he instead of making anything right, demanded that I leave his property, and that I got what I paid for. So many Lies. Nearly on a weekly basis. Between the price he quoted. To the time frame he said it would be completed (dozens of times he lied about that). To the actual finished product that he promised. Beware, Beware, Beware! This man is a scammer. Do not trust your business with him.
