Built-in feature guide
Does your Galaxy have Water Lock?
Samsung Galaxy S and Z series have a built-in Water Lock. Check here first — if you have it, use it. Then run our tool as a supplement.
Galaxy S series & Z Fold/Flip
Galaxy S20, S21, S22, S23, S24 and all Galaxy Z Fold/Flip models include Samsung’s built-in Water Lock feature. It plays the same 165Hz tone through your speaker to eject water.
Galaxy A series & older models
Galaxy A series (A55, A35, A25, A15 etc.) and older Galaxy models do not include Water Lock. Use our free online tool — it provides the same ejection tone and works just as well.

How to use
5 steps for Samsung Galaxy water eject
On Galaxy S and Z series: Settings → Advanced Features → Water Lock → Start. If available, run it 2–3 times. If not available on your model (A series), proceed to step 2.
💡 Water Lock path may vary: Settings → Advanced Features → Motions and Gestures on some modelsOpen myspeakerrepair.com/android/samsung/ in Samsung Internet or Chrome on the affected Galaxy phone. Both browsers fully support the Web Audio API needed for the ejection tone.
💡 Samsung Internet is pre-installed on all Galaxy phones and works bestPress volume up until the bar is full. On Galaxy phones: long-press the volume bar to reveal separate Ring and Media sliders. Ensure the Media slider is at maximum — the ejection tone plays as media audio, not a ringtone.
💡 Do Not Disturb mode can restrict media volume — disable it firstChoose your Galaxy series in the tool above, then tap Eject Water. Immediately hold your Galaxy phone with the USB-C port facing the floor. For stereo Galaxy phones (S series), gravity helps both speakers drain simultaneously.
💡 Z Fold: run with phone fully open and fully closed for complete coverageRun all 3 cycles. After each, firmly wipe the speaker grille with a dry lint-free cloth to remove ejected droplets. Air-dry for 30 minutes before charging. Samsung’s wireless charging generates heat — avoid using it until the phone is completely dry.
💡 Do not use wireless charging until fully dry — heat can expand remaining waterIP ratings explained
IP68 Galaxy phones still need water eject
